ANDY MCGREGOR

Andy McGregor is a highly respected educator and performer with international experience. A former grade one Pipe Major, he studied Highland bagpipes at Edinburgh Castle and is also a whistle and Scottish Smallpipes player. Andy co-founded Music Services for Pipes & Drums, an educational organisation dedicated to advancing piping and drumming tuition. With a career that spans the private sector, education, and performance, Andy has collaborated with world-renowned artists such as Phil Cunningham, Aly Bain, The Chieftains, the RTÉ Symphony Orchestra, the Ulster Orchestra, and Phil Coulter. His combined expertise in education, performance, and organisational management enhances Belfast TradFest’s ability to deliver high-quality programming and training at scale.
