Fresh from Curlew’s Cry being named the Folk Album of the Year 2025, Lurgan born Barry Kerr is gaining increasing recognition as one of Ireland’s most compelling singer-songwriters. His music is marked by lyrical depth, melodic subtlety and a strong sense of place. He is joined by the powerful and distinctive voice of Pauline Scanlon of Lumiere, and by the masterful musicianship and storytelling of Gerry O’Beirne, whose guitar playing and songcraft have long earned him admiration on both sides of the Atlantic. Together, they promise a concert of depth, nuance and beautifully crafted song.

Sharing the bill are CUAS, one of the most exciting new groups to emerge from Ireland’s traditional music scene. Formed in 2023, the ensemble brings together four exceptional young musicians; Méabh Ní Bheaglaoich (accordion, vocals), Nicole Ní Dhubhshláine (concertina, flute), Niamh Varian-Barry (fiddle, viola, vocals), and Kyle Macaulay (guitar, bouzouki). Rooted in the rich musical traditions of West Kerry, CUAS draw inspiration from the region’s distinctive blend of song, dance and instrumental music, placing a strong emphasis on the connection between performer and audience. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2024, was recorded live in an old schoolhouse in Corca Dhuibhne, capturing the energy, warmth and communal spirit at the heart of their music. Combining driving polkas and slides with songs and original compositions, CUAS have quickly built a reputation for vibrant, immersive performances and have already appeared at major festivals and on national broadcasts.

This compelling double bill brings together music that will thrill and uplift, while also offering space for reflection and subtlety
