Dougie MacLean is one of Scotland’s most renowned singer-songwriters, celebrated worldwide for his deeply moving songs, masterful guitar work and unforgettable live performances. Best known for his anthem “Caledonia” - a modern classic that has topped the Scottish charts and been covered by Paolo Nutini, Amy MacDonald, Ronan Keating, Cara Dillon, Kathy Mattea and many more - MacLean has built a catalogue that resonates across generations. His songs have featured in Hollywood films including The Last of the Mohicans, in major TV dramas, and in three dedicated BBC television specials.
Honoured with an OBE for services to music and charity, MacLean has also received two Tartan Clef Awards, a BBC Lifetime Achievement Award and induction into the Scottish Music Hall of Fame.
Acclaimed for performances that are intimate, heartfelt and richly atmospheric, Dougie MacLean continues to be, in the words of the Wall Street Journal, “a musical hero.”
Celebrated harper Ursula Burns will also bring her critically acclaimed album, The Secret Melodies of Trees, to the stage. Having received rave reviews from around the world, Ursula’s mesmerising performance will transport you through hauntingly beautiful harp compositions, poetic storytelling, and ethereal melodies that echo the whispers of nature.
