Since forming in 2011 in Dublin, The Bonny Men have built a formidable reputation for their distinctive sound and electrifying live performances. Comprised of seven exceptional musicians, each a master of their craft, the group includes multiple All-Ireland champions, a World Bodhrán Champion, and a recipient of the prestigious TG4 Young Musician of the Year award.

Together, they create a rich, dynamic sound that captures the spirit and intensity of the tradition. Equally at home with song and tune, The Bonny Men perform a mix of original and contemporary folk songs, layered with inventive harmonies, alongside sets of tunes delivered with energy, control and flair. Their performances move seamlessly between subtle, intimate moments and full-bodied ensemble power. The group’s core lineup is Conor Lyons, Barry Lyons, Natalie Ní Chasaide, Maitiú Ó Casaide, Adam Whelan, Turlough Chambers and Moss Landman, a collective of exceptional musicians whose performances are known for their drive, precision and raw energy. They’ve built a strong following for high-energy, immersive live shows, often moving between intimate, sparse moments and full-band intensity.

Sharing the bill, Bríd Harper, widely regarded as one of Ireland’s most revered fiddle players, brings her deeply expressive Donegal style to the stage. She is joined by Breton multi-instrumentalist Sylvain Barou, whose work bridges Irish, Breton and wider world traditions, and Libby McCrohan, whose bouzouki playing brings rhythmic strength and harmonic depth. Together, they create a sound that is expansive, finely textured and deeply rooted in tradition.
