a feeling in the blood

Exhibition continues in Tall Gallery, The MAC until 28th September, Open Tuesdays - Saturdays, 9am-5pm 

From 31st July onwards the artist invites visiting musicians to perform in the cathedral-like acoustics of the Tall Gallery on a purpose built stage made from old doors. All are welcome to perform or listen!

During lively house dances, the cottage door would be taken off its hinges and placed on the floor as a dance platform. 

Susan Hughes, artist and fiddle player from Belfast, will scrape the surface of the rich and complex realm of Irish traditional dance, music and song tapping into her own experience of obsession, solitary slow learning and collective transcendence. This exhibition will be activated by live dancing and music.
